Meet Mark - aka FRACTURES.
He is this months #RESDENIMCREATIVE.
FRACTURES is a Melbourne based musician/songwriter/die hard footy fan. Keep your eyes peeled for a rad little giveaway during the month of May. Scroll down to learn more about this talented dude.
Who are you and what do you do?
I’m Fractures, sometimes Mark, always a musican/songwriter kind of guy.
What inspires you?
The Essendon Football club and sometimes other musicians.
What is your favourite album at the moment?
‘The Idea of Aesthetics’ by Thrupence. It is luscious and very rewarding.
Favourite show you’ve played to date?
Most noteworthy was probably Splendour a few years back but I played a 3/4 full show in Brisbane that for some reason was fantastic. Couldn’t tell you why, it just was.
What is your favourite denim item?
I’m very unadventurous in my sartorial choices so I’d have to say plain old jeans are my number one.
What do you do in your free time?
About 80% music, the rest is a combination of checking afl.com.au for Essendon related stories and also pretending I know how to take decent photographs.
What does 2017 have in store for you?
More releases, more collaborations, some international travel (Japan, USA), some AFL football (Go Bombers), rinse and repeat.
What is your go-to karaoke song? And why…
Kissed By A Rose - Seal because it is one of the most powerful songs ever written and that is a fact. The melody is beautiful butter.
How can we find you and your work?
The usual channels - Spotify, iTunes, Amazon, Google, Youtube, Twitter, Instagram, and any good Russian free mp3 download site.
If you could have one superpower, what would it be?
Some sort of time manipulation thingo. To be able to stop it and start it. My daily productivity would soar.
