Who are you and what do you do?

My name is Amy Unalome, I am a professional tattooer based in Melbourne specialising in hand-poke (machine free) or some might know as stick and poke.

Describe your personal artistic style in 3 words

Unique, Delicate, Eclectic

What inspires you?

I’m inspired by a range of things really, mostly botanical illustration, the female figure and elements of pattern work with a twist of surrealism.

Who is your style icon?

If Penny Lane (almost famous) and Matilda (Leon) in Leon had a baby...

What do you do in your free time?

I love to draw/paint, but that's very work orientated. For fun I'm obsessed with sourcing/picking vintage clothing at markets and op shops and sleeping in after drinking too many espresso martini’s on the weekend is the best!

What does 2017 have in store for you?

Heaps of travel, I’m extremely lucky to be able to travel all over the world for tattooing. This year I'm headed to South Africa, Iceland and the UK for tattoo conventions
